Are you a solar expert with a passion for teaching? Tohono O’odham Community College (TOCC) is looking for a dedicated Solar Panel Installer Program Instructor. In this role, you won't just teach you'll shape the workforce of the Tohono O’odham Nation. You will lead our Solar Panel Installer certificate program, blending technical excellence with cultural relevance.

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000 - $57,000

What You'll Do:

  • Teach 15 equated load hours per semester, using dynamic methods to engage adult learners.
  • Maintain and evolve the curriculum for our Solar Panel Installer certificate.
  • Mentor students, maintain safety standards in the lab, and stay current with NCCER and NABCEP industry credentials.
  • Lead by example by enforcing department approved safety regulations and laboratory techniques.
  • Work with college committees and community partners to promote student success and Indigenous education.
