Job description

SolarTech is hiring experienced Solar Installers AND FOREMAN for clients across the Phoenix area. We offer consistent work, full benefits, and promote a team oriented culture.

As a Solar Installer, you will work alongside experienced professionals to install, maintain, and service residential solar panel systems. If you are passionate about renewable energy and enjoy hands-on work outdoors, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Install photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, racking systems, and inverters on residential rooftops according to project plans and safety standards (Osha)
  • Assist with site preparation, including measuring, layout, and ensuring safe work conditions
  • Identify and address electrical, environmental, and safety hazards on-site.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed solar systems
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and update job status as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, and company safety standards, including proper use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with project management and warehouse teams to coordinate materials and scheduling.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Attend ongoing training sessions to stay current on installation methods and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or relevant certifications a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in solar panel installation required
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, conduit bending, and safe ladder use45.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various outdoor conditions, including heat and confined spaces5.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work on your feet for extended periods5.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record required5.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certificate preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality workmanship.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation

  • Solely based on experience - Foreman will be above the stated pay range
