PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description (On-site – Not a Remote Position)

In this role, you will specialize in temporary generation projects. You will manage, coordinate, and administer a range of complex projects. Communicating with our vendors and clients.  Analysis and tracking is critical.  Managing more than one project simultaneously. You will be accountable for overall project deliverables and success.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:

Manage multiple complex temporary generation projects by contributing to a team of Project Coordinators, Subject Matter Experts, Field Personnel and Subcontractors as well as incorporating Health & Safety direction as necessary to ensure project completion in a safe manner, schedule and in accordance with specifications and requirements.

·         Determine the planning and development of the requirements, project scope, procedure, overall project schedule.  Manage contractual commitments, project reviews and report-outs to ensure that all work is being performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and terms of the subcontract. 

·         Procure materials to support field activities, including obtaining supplier quotes, analyze for best value, verify receipt, and coordinating delivery to field teams.

·         Extensive tracking and follow-up are essential.

·         Coordinate and set-up meetings with team members and stakeholders.  Document, distribute and follow-up on action items.

·         Project Close-Out tasks include coordination of final inspections with local officials, close-out of all permits, documenting lessons learned and transmitting actual cost and schedule data to the estimating team for use in future project development.

·         Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Project Management experience: 5 years

·         Dependable, reliable, timely, integrity.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

·         Experience working with a diverse team that would include contractors and/or subcontractors on projects.

·         Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with a wide range of groups and individuals.

·         Excellent collaboration skills and ability to effectively interact with people at all levels, internal and external to the organization.

·         Ability to communicate with a variety of project staff.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.

·         Detail-oriented, ability to focus and execute the finer details of a project.

·         Excellent Excel, Word, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook experience required.

Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Project Manager is between $80k-$85k per year depending on experience.

• After 3 months, health insurance package.

• After one year, 401K. The company matches 100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2%.
