Job Title: Security Specialist, I

Job Description:
The Security Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end management of internal andexternal investigations, threat assessments, and the mitigation of risks to corporate assets,intellectual property, and personnel. This role moves beyond oversight to the activedetection, analysis, and resolution of security breaches and policy violations within theJeffersonville manufacturing site and professional offices.


Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Security Responsibilities and Processes
Lead complex investigations into theft, fraud, workplace violence, and
unauthorized access. Document findings through comprehensive
investigative reports suitable for senior leadership or legal proceedings.
Leverage site digital card access logs, CCTV systems, and network activity
audits to reconstruct timelines of security incidents and identify responsible
parties.
Execute strategies to identify "shrinkage" or loss in technology hardware and
equipment inventories, conducting deep-dive audits where discrepancies
are found.
Conduct professional interviews with witnesses, victims, and subjects of
investigations, maintaining strict adherence to legal standards and corporate
ethics.
Act as the primary point of contact for local law enforcement during criminal
investigations, ensuring evidence is preserved and chain of custody is
maintained.
Conduct targeted security audits that simulate "adversary" tactics to identify
weaknesses in perimeter fencing, entrance gates, and high-value storage
areas.
Refine contingency plans for security breaches (e.g., unauthorized access or
data exfiltration) to include formal "Post-Incident Reviews" (PIRs) that drive
policy changes.
Analyze trends from routine daily security reports to identify emerging threats
before they result in a site violation.


Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of overall security investigative experience
Proficient in utilizing various computer software, including MS Office,
security management platforms, and incident reporting tools.
Training with OSHA requirements and/or specialized site security training is
desirable.
Familiarity with ISO compliance related to security desirable.
High school diploma required.
