Production operations, ensuring high-quality products, and managing a team of employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Monitoring production progress and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Managing equipment and coordinating maintenance schedules.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Training and supervising staff to maintain operational efficiency.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Analyzing production data to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Collaborating with engineering teams to meet production targets and enhance product quality.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Starts-up new products and equipment and supervises installation, troubleshoots initial production, ensures new processes and products meet requirements, documents and transfers to production.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Participate in multi-functional teams to resolve problems and develop new products, Process study and continuous process/quality improvement.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintains safety, product quality/yield, and manufacturing effectiveness through daily troubleshooting and resolution of process difficulties working in a cross-functional team environment

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Perform all duties to operate all equipment, all within limitation of the standard methods and procedures and in accordance with strict adherence to safety, environmental quality and productivity requirements.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ensure finished products meet quality standards. Understand machine controls, properties of materials, associated quality tests and standards to determine root causes of quality defects and effectively trouble-shoot the process.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Performing other tasks management may deem necessary

Education and Experience: ย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology program at College/University

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  2-3 years of work experience in Solar Module manufacturing plant

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  3-5 years Supervisor experience of a production or engineer team

ย 

Technical Skills:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, 5S, Six sigma, Toyota production system, and/or Lean Manufacturing training courses.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Good Knowledge of the application of statistical tools in process control and product monitoring

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS) is an asset
