Job Summary

Join our team at Renu Energy Solutions, a regional leader in renewable energy, and take part in installing solar PV and energy storage systems. As a key member of our Electrical Team, you'll assist the Team Lead in completing installations from start to finish, ensuring quality, efficiency, and code compliance. Your responsibilities will include installing system components, following electrical diagrams, maintaining tools and equipment, and assisting with inventory management. We're seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to build a career in the renewable energy industry. New employees have classroom and field training in the first 30 days and all tools and safety gear are provided.


This position is a full-time position located in the Raleigh area.


This will include some local travel.


Requirements:
  • Assist Electrical Team Lead in the installation of solar PV and energy storage systems
  • Install solar PV system components and complete assigned tasks from start to finish
  • Assist other crew members as necessary
  • Follow electrical line diagrams and equipment specifications to install high quality photovoltaic (PV) systems correctly and in an efficient manner
  • Adhere to project designs, requirements and best practices to ensure quality and code compliance
  • Maintain an organized work truck and maintain tools/equipment
  • Maintain truck inventory and assist with stocking and procurement
  • Upgrade existing electrical equipment and services on residential and commercial job sites
  • Assist with PV installations and rooftop work as necessary

Qualifications

  • One or more years of electrical experience preferred.
  • One or more years of solar electrical experience preferred.
  • Desire to succeed in the renewable energy industry while building a career with a regional solar leader
  • Ability to work atypical weekly work schedules
  • Valid state issued driver's license, clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces safely
  • General knowledge of home construction, building materials, workplace safety, fall protection, and OSHA standards
  • Reliable work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly growing business environment
