Job description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Solar Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial solar energy systems across a variety of project sites. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical knowledge, hands-on commercial field experience, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Commercial Solar Electrician Responsibilities
- Install, wire, test, and commission commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings
- Perform conduit bending, wire pulls, panel terminations, and inverter installations
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and solar system issues in the field
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, OSHA standards, and project specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on active job sites
- Conduct system testing, inspections, and quality control checks prior to project turnover
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in an organized and safe manner
Commercial Solar Electrician Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial electrical experience, preferably within solar or renewable energy projects
