Job description

Solar Contract Carpet is a leading provider of multi-family, commercial, and residential flooring solutions across Michigan. We take pride in delivering excellent service, high-quality products, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse operation.


Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be Hi-Lo certified, dependable, and experienced in warehouse operations related to flooring materials, shipping, and inventory management.


Responsibilities:

·       Operate a Hi-Lo forklift safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, and material movement.

·       Receive, inspect, and organize incoming flooring materials and supplies.

·       Pull and stage materials for installation crews and deliveries.

·       Maintain accurate inventory through daily counts and proper documentation.

·       Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with all company safety procedures.

·       Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.

·       Communicate clearly with installation teams, drivers, and office staff.


Qualifications: MUST HAVE to Apply -

·       Hi-Lo Certification (Required).

·       Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in construction or flooring materials.

·       Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely (up to 75 lbs).

·       Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.

·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

·       Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

·       Valid driver’s license, (Required).

·       MUST be able to pass a background check prior to starting work.
