These installers assist in assembling, mounting, and securing solar panels on rooftops or other structures. Since the role is per diem, it typically offers flexibility but may not include benefits like full-time positions. Familiarity with tools such as voltmeters, power drills, safety harnesses, and certifications like OSHA 10 or NABCEP Entry Level are typically sought after. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent teamwork and communication skills set top candidates apart. These skills and qualities ensure safe, efficient installations and effective collaboration on dynamic job sites with variable schedules.
