Job description

Who We Are

TERREPOWER is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Specialist. If you are a dedicated individual interested in joining a growing company in the automotive parts industry, we want you on our team!


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Obtain products from Inventory and Inspection to fill orders and carefully identify information and quantities
  • Prepare containers for shipment and place items in correct containers, packing accordingly
  • Enter shipments into the computer system to generate a shipping ticket
  • Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares quantities shown on packing slips to items received
  • Inspects for damage, compares items and quantities received against freight bills or other records, and documents discrepancies and report damaged goods to supervisor
  • Enter goods received into computerized inventory system according to instructions
  • Consistent and punctual attendance is required
  • Physical strength to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Labels, packs, and loads items for shipment according to specifications.
  • Pulling / pushing pallet of various size and weights with assistance of pallet jack to stage product for receiving or shipping
  • Overhead reaching and twisting to select and put away product from/to shelving
  • Repeatedly go up and down 25’ ladder carrying box weighing up to 20 lbs.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
  • Participate in period end inventory counts as required performing accurate inventory counts and recording counts clearly as directed

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
  • Ability to input data into computer system and create reports
  • Fed Ex and UPS familiarity preferred
  • Flexible, friendly and helpful disposition
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Other duties as assigned


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
  • Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
