Job Title: Solar Inspection Technician

Position Summary:
The Inspection Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the successful completion and compliance of inspection tasks. This position requires a high level of integrity, strong communication skills, and attention to detail when interacting with homeowners, field inspectors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret plan sets to ensure accurate execution.
  • Verify the completion and accuracy of job photos.
  • Update system files (SF) with inspection statuses.
  • Contact homeowners to confirm inspection schedules, including notifying them the night before the inspection.
  • Prepare and email meter placards for Fast Track projects.
  • Conduct walkthroughs with homeowners to ensure satisfaction and provide clarification.
  • Commission systems and batteries to confirm operational readiness.
  • Perform onsite corrections as required to meet inspection standards and achieve approval.
  • Complete and submit final inspection forms promptly and accurately.
  • Leave door hangers with inspection updates for homeowner reference.
  • Follow up with city or county inspectors to address outstanding issues or confirm approvals.
  • Inspect roofs for debris or trash to ensure proper cleanup post-installation.
  • Assist homeowners with the setup and operation of the monitoring app.
