Position Overview:
Solar Maintenance Pros is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Solar Inspection Technician to join our team in Fresno, CA. The Inspection Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of all residential and commercial solar installations. This role plays a key part in verifying that systems meet company standards, local building codes, and utility requirements, while also providing final touches to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify that all installed equipment matches the approved plan set.

  • Paint conduit and other exposed materials as required to meet code and aesthetic standards.

  • Perform minor stucco and drywall repairs as needed.

  • Install required labels and placards on all solar and electrical equipment.

  • Review and dispute inspection corrections when appropriate, providing clear documentation.

  • Commission systems, verify production output, and confirm system operational status.

  • Complete remaining finish work left by the installation crew to ensure job site readiness.

  • Provide daily updates on inspection results and project status to the operations team.

  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, NEC codes, and utility requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with city/county inspectors, project managers, and team members.

  • Ensure all work performed meets the company’s quality standards and promotes customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
