Job description

Venture Solar is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor.
Candidates must have experience in receiving, issuing, organizing materials for maximum efficiency and preparing material daily to support Venture Solar residential installation crews.
You will be responsible for:
  • Properly organize warehouse to ensure all material is accessible, countable, and identifiable
  • Must maintain a clean and orderly warehouse with accurate inventory and prepare all installation kits on time.
  • Pull material, restock installation crew vans, and return excess materials
  • Review and document inventory count to ensure accuracy within the warehouse daily
  • Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists, and job closeout paperwork
  • Deliver materials to job sites when needed
  • Use computer software system to issue and receive material

What you'll bring:
  • Must have warehouse experience in the solar field - required
  • Ability to use a forklift to load and unload trucks
  • Mechanical aptitude to pre-assemble parts
  • Ability to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
  • Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid, Active Driver's License in the State of hire and Forklift Certification.
Compensation:
Full time work 40+ hours, overtime pay for over 40 hours in 1 week.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role.
$22.00-$25.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
