What We're Looking For:

What You'll Do:
  • The role requires strong technical skills in electrical, civil and structural principles with a focus on accuracy, compliance with codes and utilizing equipment specs.
  • Focus of role will be utilizing software (PV case, PV Farm, SAM, PVsyst) for designing, optimizing, and creating detailed technical plans for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
  • Create PV layouts with to support the electrical design of the project in collaboration with other disciplines. 
  • Perform electrical "blocking" and MV routing for PV design
  • Assist with generation of single line diagrams
  • Evaluating design alternatives to solve constructability, code, and site challenges.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups, including plan views, sections, elevations, and details
Must-Haves:
  • Associate or Technical Degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, or Engineering or B.S. in Engineering, Technology or Construction related fields from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Ability to lead design projects, mentor junior staff, and maintain design standards.
  •  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
