Position SummaryStandard Solar, Inc. is seeking an experienced Treasurer to lead treasury operations for its growing renewable energy platform. This role oversees cash management, liquidity planning, debt administration, banking relationships, financial risk management, and treasury controls, while partnering closely with the Chief Financial Officer, FP&A, accounting, structured finance, asset management, legal, tax, and operations teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily cash positioning, liquidity management, and cash forecasting for corporate operations, project obligations, debt service, and investment needs.Develop short- and long-term cash flow forecasts and scenario analyses to support business planning, project financing, and capital allocation decisions.Oversee corporate and project-level banking relationships, account structures, bank services, signatory authority, fees, and treasury technology solutions.Manage debt administration, including payment calendars, interest and principal payment coordination, covenant support, lender reporting, and stakeholder coordination.Support project finance, structured finance, tax equity, and acquisition activities by advising on funding mechanics, reserve requirements, cash waterfalls, and transaction closings.Design and strengthen treasury policies, procedures, controls, and reporting processes to support accuracy, compliance, audit readiness, and scalability.Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for treasury processes, including control design, documentation, testing support, audit coordination, issue remediation, and monitoring of key controls.Monitor liquidity, interest rate, counterparty, banking, and operational treasury risks.Partner with accounting on treasury transactions, bank reconciliations, debt activity, and cash reporting.Coordinate with legal, tax, asset management, and operations on treasury-related contract requirements, collateral accounts, and restricted cash matters.Prepare treasury reports and presentations for executive leadership, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.Evaluate treasury systems, automation opportunities, and process improvements to improve cash visibility, controls, and efficiency.Lead, mentor, and develop treasury team members as the function grows.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.Minimum of 7 years of progressive treasury, corporate finance, banking, project finance, or related finance experience.Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, debt administration, banking operations, internal controls, and SOX audit support.Experience supporting SOX audits, including control documentation, walkthroughs, testing coordination, evidence collection, audit requests, and remediation of control deficiencies.Experience with complex capital structures, credit agreements, project finance facilities, tax equity structures, or renewable energy assets strongly preferred.Ability to manage banking relationships and communicate effectively with lenders, investors, auditors, and senior executives.Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.High accuracy, judgment, discretion, and accountability when handling confidential financial information.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and treasury, banking, ERP, or financial reporting systems.Preferred QualificationsCertified Treasury Professional designation or similar credential.Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, asset management, independent power production, real estate, or other capital-intensive industries.Familiarity with project-level waterfalls, restricted cash, collateral agency arrangements, debt service reserve accounts, and lender reporting.Experience implementing treasury management systems, banking platforms, or automation tools.Prior leadership experience building or scaling a treasury function.Key CompetenciesStrategic financial leadership with strong operational execution.Clear communication and ability to explain complex treasury matters.Collaboration across finance, legal, tax, operations, asset management, and external partners.Sound judgment, risk awareness, and ability to manage competing priorities.Continuous improvement mindset focused on controls, efficiency, and scalability.Compensation and BenefitsCompensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
