Soju information

What is a soju maker?

Soju makers are professionals or companies involved in the production, distillation, and bottling of soju, a popular Korean distilled alcoholic beverage. They oversee the entire process from fermenting the base ingredients, such as rice, wheat, or barley, to distilling and filtering the liquid to achieve the desired alcohol content and flavor. Soju makers are responsible for maintaining quality control, ensuring that the product meets safety and taste standards, and often innovate with new flavors or production techniques. Many soju makers work for established distilleries, while some operate smaller craft operations.

What are the main responsibilities of a Soju brand ambassador, and how does the role contribute to the company's overall success?

A Soju Brand Ambassador typically focuses on promoting the brand through events, tastings, and partnerships with bars, restaurants, and retailers. They educate consumers and staff about the unique qualities of the product, collect feedback from the market, and help develop local marketing strategies. The role often involves frequent travel, evening or weekend work, and close collaboration with sales and marketing teams. By building strong relationships and increasing brand visibility, ambassadors play a key role in growing sales and establishing a loyal customer base.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a soju maker, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Soju Maker, you need a solid understanding of fermentation science, distillation processes, and food safety regulations, often supported by relevant experience or formal training in food technology or brewing. Familiarity with specialized distilling equipment, quality control systems, and regulatory compliance certifications is typically required. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong collaboration skills make someone stand out in this position. These skills are essential to ensure high-quality, safe, and consistent soju production in a competitive beverage industry.

Restaurant Server

Vpho

Campbell, CA

$16.90 - $25/hr

Part-time

Posted 14 days ago

Job description

Part-Time Server at VPho (Campbell, CA)

$16.90/hr plus tips. Lunch or dinner shifts, 5 days a week.

VPho is a Vietnamese restaurant on W Hamilton Ave in Campbell. We do pho, banh mi, rice and noodle plates, dim sum, boba, and a full soju and cocktail bar. Small crew, a lot of regulars. We're hiring a part-time server.

The shifts

We run two blocks every day: lunch 11:00 to 3:00, dinner 5:00 to 10:30. Most part-timers take one block, so you're not stuck sitting through a split. Tell us which block and which days work for you and we'll build around it. Weekend dinners are where we need coverage most.

What you'll do

Greet and seat guests, take orders, run food and drinks, and reset tables. You'll also handle to-go and delivery orders, which stack up fast during dinner. Servers here make boba and pour beer and soju too, so there's some bar work in it.

What we're looking for

Serving experience helps, but we'll train someone who learns fast and shows up on time. What matters more is staying level when every table turns at once, and being able to talk to people. Vietnamese is a plus with our regulars, not a requirement. You need to be 21 or older to serve alcohol in California, and you'll need to complete RBS certification within your first 60 days. We'll walk you through it.

Pay

$16.90 an hour plus tips, paid every two weeks.

How to apply

Please include with your name, the shifts you can work, and where you've served before. You can also stop by 930 W Hamilton Ave, Ste 110 and ask for a manager. Between 2:00 and 3:00 is the easiest time to catch one. We'll get back to you within a few days.
