Job description

Contracted Drug & Alcohol Therapist
Position Summary
Sojourner House is seeking a compassionate and qualified Contracted Drug & Alcohol Therapist to provide clinical services to women in recovery from substance use disorders. The therapist will facilitate individual counseling, group therapy, treatment planning, and clinical documentation in accordance with DDAP, licensing, and agency requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with DDAP regulations, confidentiality standards, and agency policies.
  • Collaborate with program staff to support clients' recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Current Pennsylvania licensure preferred (LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT) or eligible to practice under applicable regulations.
  • CAADC or other addiction counseling credential preferred.
  • Experience working with substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and women in recovery preferred.
  • Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
