Job description

We are seeking a dependable, hard-working individual for a Soil Technician position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a small, team-oriented company. You will play a key role in daily field operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Dig and prepare soil for testing
  • Perform soil testing to determine suitability for septic tank installation
  • Assist with soil mapping and documentation
  • Carry equipment from trucks to testing locations
  • Operate tools and maintain equipment
  • Possibly drive company vehicle to job sites
  • Support the owner and team with field and site tasks as needed


Qualifications:

  • Soil testing or Soil Technician experience
  • Soil mapping experience
  • Knowledge of on-site wastewater disposal systems
  • AutoCAD experience


Work Environment:

  • 90% of work performed outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physically active role requiring lifting, digging, and extended time outside
