Job description

Status: Full-time, Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The training coordinator is responsible for coordinating onboarding activities, scheduling training programs, maintaining training records, supporting training delivery, managing training logistics, and ensuring employees successfully complete assigned training activities.

The role serves as the primary coordinator for training operations while supporting the training specialist and director of training in executing the organization’s learning and development initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesOnboarding & Scheduling
  • Create onboarding schedules for all new hires in partnership with the training specialist
  • Maintain department-specific onboarding schedule templates
  • Coordinate schedule approvals with hiring managers
  • Schedule onboarding sessions and training events
  • Reserve meeting rooms and coordinate virtual meeting logistics
  • Adjust schedules as needed based on business requirements
  • Serve as the primary contact for onboarding logistics and scheduling questions
  • Distribute new hire onboarding communications
Training Coordination & Support
  • Coordinate logistics for onboarding and ongoing training sessions
  • Ensure training materials are available and prepared
  • Verify technology readiness for training events
  • Track attendance and participation
  • Monitor completion of required training activities
  • Follow up with learners and managers regarding outstanding training requirements
  • Support the training specialist during training events and programs
Documentation & Quality Assurance
  • Test training documentation and learning materials to ensure accuracy
  • Validate training procedures within testing environments when applicable

Administrative & Operational Support
  • Maintain onboarding and training tracking systems

  • Assist the director or training with departmental planning and administrative activities
Required Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in training coordination, learning administration, HR coordination, project coordination, or related fields
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and business needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
  • Experience with Salesforce (as an end user) a plus
