Summary: The Management Trainee – Sales is an entry point into Goldfish Swim School's Manager Development Program, designed for motivated individuals who are passionate about people, sales, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. In this role, you will work closely alongside the AGM – Sales and General Manager, developing the skills and knowledge needed to lead a high-performing Front Desk team, drive enrollment, and eventually grow into a Manager. You will learn the school's operations from the ground up, building confidence through hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet every member and family warmly at arrival and departure, serving as a welcoming presence for the school.
  • Keep the facility clean, organized, and always ready for customers.
  • Oversee the first day swimmer process: wristbands, tours, lane walks, and follow up.
  • Support daily enrollment efforts by following up on leads via calls and texts under the guidance of the AGM or GM.
  • Learn to handle common customer objections and support Front Desk staff in doing the same.
  • Shadow and assist the AGM in coaching Front Desk team members through real-time support and feedback.
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts - responsible for the full operation of the school, stepping in across aquatics, front desk, and facilities wherever the team needs support and ensuring every area is running at the Goldfish standard.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A natural communicator - comfortable on the phone and in person with families.
  • Comfortable learning new software (we'll train you on our systems).
  • Organized, dependable, and proactive about following through.
  • 0-1 years in a customer service, sales, or team support role.
  • Required to obtain a Lifeguard Certification through Goldfish Swim School, if not already.
  • Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
 What Success Looks Like:
  • Families feel welcomed and cared for from their very first interaction.
  • The Front Desk team is supported, coached, and set up to succeed each shift.
  • The school feels clean, organized, and running smoothly every day.
  • Enrollment growth and retention.
