Position Summary
The Division of Student Life has an exciting opportunity and invites applications for the Proctor & Accommodated Testing Specialist position within the Accessibility Resources department. In this 10-month role, you will facilitate and provide accommodated exam proctoring and support, along with related direct services.
As a Proctor & Accommodated Testing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Facilitate and proctor all testing at Accessibility Resources, under the direction of the Assistant Director of Testing.
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive testing environment while maintaining academic integrity.
  • Supervise/support a group of Graduate Student Assistants (GSAs) who assist with proctoring timed assessments and facilitating related testing services.
  • Demonstrate strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills to ensure accurate coordination of testing activities and effective interaction with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff across all academic departments to deliver an equitable testing experience.
  • Track and report on the delivery of testing-related services and student orientation progress.
  • Create and update individual student testing appointments and records.
  • Coordinate exam scheduling, including finals, requiring the ability to handle complex and highly detailed responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support aspects of front-of-office operations and other direct service-related work as needed.

This is a multi-vacancy posting. The department is recruiting to fill two roles. Specific location assignments and work hours will be discussed during the interview process. Due to the nature of our work, evenings and weekends are required.
