Are you the person we are looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Specialist who is passionate about quality, detail-oriented by nature, and excited by the challenge of validating software that must perform flawlessly in safety-critical environments. As part of our Functional Safety Test Team, you will play a key role in helping certify software components to ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards. You'll work alongside experienced engineers testing cutting-edge technologies including safety-certified real-time operating systems, board support packages (BSPs), device drivers, networking stacks, and hypervisors.

What You'll Do

  • Validate and verify safety-certified real-time embedded software through both manual and automated testing
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports aligned with ISO 26262 and related standards
  • Configure, integrate, and test software deliverables on a variety of hardware platforms
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using C, C++, and Python
  • Investigate test failures, analyze results, and collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues
  • Create clear, detailed defect reports and verify fixes through regression testing
  • Partner closely with development and test teams to ensure the highest levels of product quality and compliance
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and automation capabilities

What You Bring

  • Experience testing software within ISO 26262 Functional Safety environments or other safety-critical standards
  • Proven experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test reports
  • Experience developing automated tests using C, C++ and Python in Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins
  • Experience using source control systems such as Git or SVN
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality practices, and standards-based development
  • Excellent debugging and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and actionable defect reports
  • Familiarity with processor architectures such as Intel and ARM
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-first mindset
  • A genuine passion for quality, technology, and continuous learning
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

Compensation Hiring Base Salary Range:

$96,000.00 - $135,000.00

The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process.
