We are hiring for a Software Tester opportunity.

Role: Software Tester

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA (Onsite Preferred).

Position: 1

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester with strong expertise in test case development and execution to support enterprise application testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases while ensuring the delivery of high quality software solutions. Candidates with Integrated Eligibility (IE) domain knowledge will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed test cases and test scripts based on business and technical requirements

Execute manual test cases and validate application functionality

Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution

Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure application stability

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues

Maintain testing documentation and provide accurate test execution reports

Participate in system, integration, and user acceptance testing activities as needed

Ensure software quality by validating functionality, usability, and business processes

Support release validation and production readiness activities

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Test Case Execution

Hands on experience with Test Case and Test Script Development

Experience performing functional and regression testing

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent documentation and communication abilities

Experience working in structured software testing environments

Preferred Skills:

Integrated Eligibility (IE) domain knowledge

Experience with State Government applications

Prior Deloitte project experience

Familiarity with software development life cycle and quality assurance methodologies
