Position: Quality Assurance Analyst
Department: EPMO
Reporting to: Quality Assurance Analyst Supervisor
Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite
This role is situated in Topeka, Kansas, and it is exclusively an on-site work arrangement. Additionally, please note that the company does not extend sponsorship opportunities at this time.
Overview:
Are you a problem-solver who loves diving into the nitty-gritty of software testing? As our Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our web and mobile applications are top-notch. You won't just be testing; you'll be brainstorming creative solutions and collaborating closely with our awesome team and clients to understand their needs and identify areas for quality improvements.
What you’ll do:
  • Evaluate and test web and mobile applications to ensure they meet functional specifications and development guidelines
  • Author, maintain and verify quality standards and comprehensive test procedures/cases
  • Accurately track and report errors and failures encountered during testing with detailed descriptions of the inputs and conditions necessary to reproduce the error
  • Interface with Project Managers to ensure strong communication regarding timelines and delivery
  • Work closely with product owners, developers, and other members of the Scrum based development team to iterate rapidly
  • Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to users
Experience you’ll bring:
  • Experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking
  • Interest or aptitude for identifying problems and suggesting improvements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
