The HOPTEK team is rapidly growing and is looking for a software engineers for our Engineering and Operations departments. These roles will be a great learning experience for understanding the development and delivery of a portfolio of products.
Role
As a software engineer you will be responsible for design and development of product components such as web applications, mobile apps, microservices, REST APIs, advanced analytics, and core graph-based software algorithms. You will work in roles such as full-stack development, algorithm development, cyber security, infrastructure engineering, UX/HCI or analytics
Responsibilities :
• Database design and detailed technical requirements to support the product goals
• Handling coding works or parts of assigned projects
• Maintaining code / design quality as per set guideline and standards
• Testing ongoing projects using test driven development techniques
• Remove technical impediments
• Facilitating code / design reuse and efficient open source code integration
Requirements
Education:
Enrolled in a BS/MS program in Computer Science or related majors.
Experience:
• 0-2 years of experience developing web applications, database systems and external micro services
• Eagerness and ability to find creative ways to assemble open source solutions with custom made code into cost effective software solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud-based architecture in the design and deployment of modular software is desirable.
