Job Summary
The SDET III will lead and contribute to automated testing initiatives within the Quality Engineering team. This role focuses on backend and API automation using Java-based frameworks, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable software through robust test strategies, automation frameworks, and non-functional testing practices.

Minimum 3 Years in Backend Automation & Core Java
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead automated testing efforts and contribute to quality strategy discussions
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test suites with minimal supervision
  • Design and maintain backend/API automation using Java and Rest Assured
  • Build and optimize automation frameworks for regression and critical user scenarios
  • Solve complex automation challenges to improve test efficiency and coverage
  • Execute automated tests, analyze results, and collaborate on defect diagnosis
  • Establish and review script quality standards and best practices
  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans
  • Participate in design and feature discussions, providing test strategy input
  • Perform non-functional testing including performance, stability, and reliability
  • Conduct demos, walkthroughs, peer reviews, and technical deep dives
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement automation innovations
  • Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics from test executions
  • Collaborate closely with development, QE, and cross-functional teams
