POSITION TITLE: Software Test Engineer ROLE SUMMARY: Ensures software products meet established quality standards including reliability, usability, and performance required for release. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design and implement test plans to improve usability of products. • Work with development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot software issues. • Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. • Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers. • Develop testing programs covering database impacts, regression testing, negative testing, and usability. • Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and schedules. • Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates. • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in IT from an accredited institution. Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Required Certifications: AWS Certified Machine Learning. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS services and cloud-based testing environments.
