Job description

The Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst is responsible for designing and executing of test cases, documents results, and manages defects to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role also supports and mentors QA team members while contributing to overall testing strategy and process improvement.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios and detailed test scripts to validate complex business workflows from user stories
  • Perform functional testing of web applications, including business rules, validations, and integrations
  • Own and manage the defect lifecycle, including tracking and updates in JIRA
  • Participate across the full QA lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Apply risk-based testing to prioritize test coverage and execution
  • Create test plans and estimates aligned with project timelines
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
  • Identify and mitigate testing and project risks, escalating issues as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements and QA best practices, including supporting training initiatives
  • Review and refine QA standards to ensure quality and consistency
  • Analyze complex issues and recommend effective solutions

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years in QA or related field
  • Strong expertise in QA methodologies, best practices, and full software development lifecycle
  • Proven ability to lead QA efforts and work independently with minimal oversight
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and familiarity with Postman or API testing tools
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including leading in-person demos of bugs and new features
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and engage across all levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
