We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to support enterprise application quality efforts. This position will focus on building confidence in new and updated system capabilities through thoughtful test planning, hands-on validation, and close coordination with cross-functional teams. The role is well suited for someone who can assess risk, uncover defects early, and help ensure stable releases across integrated business systems.

Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end quality activities for enterprise systems, from initial test approach through final release verification and post-deployment follow-up.

• Execute a range of testing efforts such as functional, integration, regression, smoke, exploratory, end-to-end, and user acceptance validation.

• Record, prioritize, and retest defects using Azure DevOps, Jira, or comparable tools while partnering with developers to confirm root causes and fixes.

• Evaluate APIs, data flows, reporting outputs, security access, workflows, and system dependencies to confirm reliable performance across connected platforms.

• Contribute to Agile planning sessions, release readiness reviews, and go/no-go recommendations by providing clear quality metrics and risk insight.

• Support test data preparation, environment readiness, and release validation activities to help ensure smooth deployment outcomes.

• Help strengthen regression coverage and contribute to automation planning for high-value business processes.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience testing enterprise software applications and integrated systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans for test management, execution tracking, and reporting.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar platforms used for defect tracking and project coordination.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices, CI/CD concepts, release processes, and structured QA methodologies.
• Experience validating APIs, databases, integrations, workflows, reports, and other interconnected application components.
• Ability to review business and technical requirements, identify testing risks, and create effective validation strategies.
• Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
