Management Accountabilities
  • Once contracts are awarded, responsible for bringing contracts into the PM Lifecyle, creating, and managing project schedule.
  • Successful project delivery through disciplined PM methodologies across design-build scopes, including solar PV, BESS, generators, and EV charging.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Pre-Construction Engineer during design phases to review scope definitions, validate constructability, confirm schedule assumptions, and identify execution risks before notice to proceed.
  • Provide field grounded technical input to support contract negotiations; including review of deliverables, exclusions, assumptions, and risk allocation; ensuring final contract terms are clearly defined and executable.
  • Close collaboration with key stakeholders including clients, engineers of record, utility representatives, AHJs, subcontractors, and equipment vendors.
  • Clear and consistent communication of project status
  • Mitigates unplanned surprises, risk to scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain standard project documentation - project plans, agendas, action items management, deliverable milestones with adherence to Project Management lifecycle best practices.
  • Manage utility coordination across all project types; including interconnection applications for solar/storage, service entrance upgrades for generators, utility make-ready programs for EV charging, and capacity requests for combined load projects.
  • Navigate federal, state, and utility incentive programs including the ITC, RETITC, bring your own device (BYOD), and utility rebate programs; ensure project documentation meets compliance requirements.
  • Measure results and monitor key performance indicators to ensure project objectives are met throughout the project.
  • Material, equipment, fees, billing, and financial reporting with accountability on project over/under based on project contracts.
  • Manage observation reports - create observation reports on client's management platform, follow-up on observation reports actions and inform the team of outcomes and priorities.
  • Customer satisfaction.

Other Responsibilities
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior staff; other PM duties as needed.

Knowledge & Certification
  • Min. 2 years of experience in solar construction.
  • NABCEP desired but not required
  • Manufacturer certification from an inverter and battery storage OEM
