About This Role
Seeking a senior ATE Project Lead, to support ATE development in the Textron Weapon Systems Line of Business. Applicants should have a strong background in all aspects of Test Equipment development and possess a demonstrated ability in leading technical teams. Responsibilities will include designing, developing, integrating, and deploying Automated Test Equipment. The successful candidate will have intimate technical knowledge of Commercial (COTS) Instrumentation, Test Equipment electrical design, mechanical design, software design, Calibration, and Self-Test methods, etc. 
 

Responsibilities
A high competency in the practices of ATE Requirements Analysis, Design Review presentations, and ATE Certification practices are also required, with a strong emphasis on intra/inter disciplinary team cohesion.

As an ATE Project Technical Lead, the applicant's primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate all technical project work and to support the team's Cost Account Management (CAM) activities.  An emphasis on status reporting of Integrated Master Schedules in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS), will also be required to maintain all aspects of project execution in accordance with the established cost, schedule, and technical requirements of the program.

Qualifications
Required Education / Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Scientific field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of ATE development, including demonstrable prior technical leadership and Cost Account Management.

Required Related Skills:

  • Strong oral and written Communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills with company personnel, customers and suppliers
  • Strong computer skills in preparing appropriate professional reports, documents and presentations

Security Clearance:

  • An existing U.S. Security Clearance is desired. The ability to obtain one is required.
