The role involves designing, building, and sustaining Windows desktop infrastructure for intelligence professionals, managing the full IT project lifecycle from requirements to ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design and define system architecture for Windows desktop solutions and client-based applications
โ€ข Build, deploy, and administer large-scale, multi-domain enterprise Windows environments โ€” virtual and physical
โ€ข Engineer and package client software installations for Microsoft Windows desktops across diverse environments
โ€ข Integrate Windows desktops with enterprise services including public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms
โ€ข Plan and direct OS version upgrades and supporting infrastructure changes
โ€ข Evaluate desktop software and hardware technologies and recommend the most efficient implementation approach

โ€ข MECM/MCM packaging experience with deep knowledge of OSD, MDT, and Intune
โ€ข Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop design, engineering, and implementation
โ€ข Experience engineering and deploying client software installation packages for physical and virtual Windows desktops
โ€ข Application virtualization experience: Citrix XenApp, Citrix App Layering, Microsoft App-V, and MSIX App Attach
โ€ข Experience maintaining Windows desktop systems for mobile/laptop users
โ€ข Anti-virus and malware product integration and remediation within Windows desktop environments
โ€ข Rapid software fix deployment experience for both desktops and servers
