Job description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all the duties listed below;

  • Make boxes and ensure production has all material needed
  • Perform machine clean outs including color changes and resin changes
  • Assist in cleaning out plugged grinders
  • Remove production waste and place in the appropriate marked containers
  • Break employees in the department
  • Evaluate materials to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
  • Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
  • Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers. Un-jam assemblers as needed.
  • Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area.
  • Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
  • Will be fork truck certified
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures
