APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Regression testing of Shipped features; Test case plan and test case preparation for new features; Functional testing of new features; Cross Functional testing efforts; Defect logging and tracking; and Weekly team status meeting, 1:1 meeting with manager for task progress and goals, Cross functional meetings & DRI status meetings. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,200 - $231,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing product features using test case designed tools and defect tracking systems such as Jira or equivalent based on functional and technical specifications.
Validating data integrity and consistency through database-level testing using SQL-based tools for property validation, indexing, and query verification.
Testing synchronization workflows between client, server, and cloud-based systems using log analysis and monitoring tools such as Splunk or equivalent to confirm accurate data consistency across environments.
Using Linux command-line tools and log-tailing techniques to monitor, debug, and verify backend processes and system interactions
Triaging automation test failures by reproducing issues, analyzing logs using Splunk, Charles Proxy or equivalent tools and coordinating with engineering teams to identify root causes.
Utilizing log analysis and monitoring tools like Splunk, Charles Proxy or equivalent, to investigate service reliability and system-level issues.
Conducting cross-functional and end-to-end testing to ensure seamless integration across interconnected applications and backend services.
Documenting, tracking, and verifying defects using industry-standard issue-tracking and test-management tools like Jira or its equivalent throughout the software lifecycle.
Applying quality assurance methodologies and structured testing frameworks to improve software reliability, performance, and user experience
