Job description

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful implementation of IDEXX EzyVet suite of software products and software solutions for customers through day-to-day training for product administrator(s) and end-users, guiding customer through data configuration process, and consultation on setup procedures, workflows, configurations, and customizations.
Some travel may be required in this role up to 25% for conferences and client meetings.

What you will do:

  • Consult on setup and configuration of IDEXX software solutions.

  • Coach/Train as practice completes online learning.

  • Act as point of elevation for all product related questions throughout customer onboarding.

  • Considered subject matter experts for the assigned product(s).

  • Analyzes, develops and implements process changes to provide improvement in workflow, operational procedures and other related business areas.

  • Training the customer on how to configure and develop their solution, while reinforcing best practice recommendations.

  • Coordinate with the wider customer team to ensure that issues are raised and owned appropriately.

  • Perform all internal handovers to allow customer to have a seamless experience.

  • Coach customers on the use of best practice clinical workflows and guide them through the unique setup of their software.

  • Participates in internal projects to implement new initiatives; identifies project opportunities; generates ideas and solutions.

  • May lead work activities of other team members, coordinating daily activities and providing training, coaching and guidance.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Deep knowledge of the relevant IDEXX software solution (gained through provided in-classroom training as well as on-the-job experience)

  • 1-2 years of implementation or IDEXX software experience.

  • Strong organizational and administration skills

  • Initiative and is performance orientated

  • Enthusiasm, drives and delivers great results

  • Performing a range of tasks under competing demands and deadlines

  • High customer service ethics

  • Data gathering and analytical ability.

  • Process improvement skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized with clear understanding of project management.

  • Have fast and accurate keyboard skills

  • PC skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Bachelor's degree of equivalent combination of education and experience required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Extensive sitting, phone and computer use.

  • Capable of standing continuously for up to 2 hours.

  • Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers.

  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch.

  • May be required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Hearing acuity sufficient to effectively communicate with customers and Employees via telephone and in person.

  • Ability to communicate verbally on phone and in person.

  • Fluency in the English language.

  • Extended hours may be required.

  • Some travel required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • General office environment or light laboratory/industrial, with some areas to assemble equipment, decontaminate potential biohazards and bench repair instruments.

  • Normal office noise level, with occasional moderate noise.
