JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of ARGO's business solutions to customers and providing strategic leadership to customers and to ARGO's business initiatives. They are responsible for the overall success of the project with accountability for project and customer relationship management, employee and team management, and execution. Responsibilities also include short-term and long-term planning, executing project plans, detecting and assessing risk, ensuring high level of quality, controlling and monitoring project schedules, budget review, getting results from teams, and expert knowledge of software implementation. The role scales in responsibility based on experience level, from managing small-scale projects independently to leading large, complex engagements and mentoring other project managers.

EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks and issues.
  • Monitor scope, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prepare and maintain resource forecasts and identify and report variances.
  • Enforce quality assurance and change control procedures meet expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Produce and distribute periodic status reports to customer and ARGO management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication.
  • Set and manage customer expectations through clear objectives and consistent updates.
  • Manage and communicate change with consideration given to the triple constraints, project and customer objectives, and effect on business value.
  • Foster long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for added value.
  • Empower teams through setting team objectives, defining authority and clear responsibilities, collaboration maps, and results measurement.
  • Motivate and guide project teams to achieve goals efficiently.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to onboarding and training efforts.
  • Maintain lessons learned and share those lessons for continuous process improvement.
  • Apply knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) to project execution.
  • Demonstrate keen understanding in application of information technology in business environments.
  • Possess general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
  • Understand deployment architecture, performance, redundancy and availability considerations.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Manager I: Minimum 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Project Manager II: Minimum 5+ years of experience, including team leadership on external customer software delivery projects.
  • Project Manager III: Minimum 8-10 years of experience managing complex customer software delivery projects.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, project phases, and deliverables.
  • Experience of managing project staff and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in resource and duration estimation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
