Job Summary:
Addepar is a global data and AI platform empowering investment professionals to turn complex financial information into actionable intelligence. The Software Engineering Manager will lead the development of the Workflow Platform, transforming financial processes into automated workflows and ensuring the platform scales to meet the needs of large customers.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of senior engineers.
• Maintain technical high-ground by staying active in the codebase - writing production code, conducting deep architectural reviews, and helping with the design of scalable integration points.
• Partner with global Product Managers to translate ambitious business goals into predictable, actionable technical roadmaps.
• Drive the transition to a self-service model and help to oversee geographic expansion, ensuring our infrastructure remains performant across new global regions.
• Serve as one of the champions for our platform, fostering a vibrant developer community and driving adoption through insightful technical content, internal public speaking, and hands-on partnership.
• Work at the intersection of workflow orchestration and Agentic AI, helping to aid in the execution of complex, natural-language-driven tasks within a workflow-oriented context.
• Actively coach engineers through the nuances of a sophisticated financial domain, helping them navigate their career path and develop as engineers.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 6+ years in platform development, with at least 2+ years of formal people management or proven team leadership.
• Highly proficient in Python and Java.
• Practical experience building robust, service-oriented architectures in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
