  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps principles to streamline software release processes.
  • Introduce metrics dashboards and accountability frameworks to track velocity, code quality, defect rates, and milestone adherence.
  • Drive cultural transformation by embedding continuous learning, technical excellence, and ownership at all levels.
  • Ensure all software meets DO-178C and cybersecurity requirements, maintaining rigorous configuration and change control.
  • Collaborate closely with Systems, Hardware, and Test Engineering to enable rapid integration and test cycles.
  • Develop a scalable organization structure, balancing FTEs, contractors, and future automation capabilities.
  • Partner with PMO to deliver accurate cost-to-complete forecasts and transparent milestone tracking.
  • Serve as the technical authority for software design standards, tool selection, and reuse strategies across all SCI product lines.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years of team or technical management.
  • Proven experience leading software organizations developing embedded or safety-critical systems.

  • Strong command of agile methodologies, requirements traceability, and quality metrics.
  • Experience driving measurable improvements in software delivery speed and quality.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and holding them accountable.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
