Description

Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a mid-level Salesforce Software Developer to join the existing SRC Cloud Service Integration Team (CSIT). CSIT currently supports multiple Department of War (DOW) projects and customer providing Salesforce configuration, development, integration, test, project management, technical writing, and risk management framework support. This role is ideal for a midlevel developer with strong fullstack fundamentals and growing Salesforce expertise. The Salesforce Software Developer will build clientside components (Lightning Web Components), serverside logic (Apex), and integrations that support missioncritical workflows across secure government and federal environments. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and supporting the deployment of Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, APIs, and platform automation
  • Building and maintaining fullstack features using HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and Java
  • Implementing and optimizing data models, schemas, relationships, and data flows across Salesforce and integrated systems
  • Supporting integration development, including REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft flows, and external system mappings
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Participating in Agile requirements, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and team retrospectives
  • Producing clear, concise technical documentation, diagrams, and release notes
  • Communicating technical concepts effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Ensuring compliance with DoW cybersecurity, data governance, and secure development standards
  • Providing periodic onsite support or customer engagement (up to 5% travel)

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (computer science, information systems, engineering, etc.)
  • Two or more years of fullstack development experience, including:
    • HTML, CSS, XML
    • JavaScript
    • Java
  • Two or more years of software development experience using scripting or objectoriented languages
  • Working knowledge of database design, including schemas, tables, relationships, and data flow
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities
  • Experience integrating into existing complex systems
  • Ability to communicate technical work clearly through written and verbal methods
Desired Skills
  • Two or more years of Salesforce development experience
  • Salesforce Developer Certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II) strongly preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce platform capabilities such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
  • Handson experience developing and delivering Lightning Web Components
  • Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration tools
  • Prior experience integrating Salesforce with complex enterprise systems
