About the role
Software development of intelligent cellular/wireless LTE/5G network management & analytic applications to design & implement carrier grade full-stack solutions to manage our wireless networking products; design, develop & debug complex software systems that underpin wireless big data engines; collaborate w/ engineers to find effective solutions to technical challenges; work w/ software engineers & QA to build, test, deploy & troubleshoot telco-grade, high quality wireless networking solutions. Requires: Master's degree in comp. sci., software engineering, or closely related. 5 yrs. exp.: designing, implementing, & supporting network management products. 5 yrs. exp. w/: virtualization technology, container schedulers, & runtimes w/ Kubernetes systems (i.e. Docker, Rkt, or Open Container Initiative (OCI)); infrastructure-as-code tools (i.e. Ansible, Chef, or Terraform); working on wireless products w/ REST APIs, Microservices, Kubernetes, & AWS cloud; Linux administration & troubleshooting (i.e. RHEL, CentOS). Exp. w/: Container Network Interfaces (CNI) aspects of Kubernetes or virtualization technologies; defining & enforcing cloud cyber-security best-practices (i.e. CIS compliance standards).
