Job description

Location: Candidates in the Columbus, Ohio and Jacksonville, Florida area are preferred; remote employment is also possible for candidates in Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama.

Compensation Range: $110,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do

As a key contributor, you’ll:

• Work closely with the Program Manager, Business Analyst, and the Agile team to collaborate on proof of concepts, industrialization of the concepts and the delivery of the concepts in a digital framework for quick release cycle to achieve targeted Minimal Viable Product (MVP).

• Using modern technologies including web frameworks, SQL Server, Azure, iPaaS and DevOps tools, design, and develop enterprise applications. Design and develop business applications and system solutions including test plans, unit testing, safety and soundness testing, regression testing and system integration testing following enterprise architecture, design, and coding standards.

• Fully support and participate in all stages of the Agile methodology including daily standup, story planning, backlog grooming, deliverables, and demonstrations. Provide honest and critical feedback during all stages of the process to ensure better development practices and successful solution implementations.

• Provide recommendations to the team for environmental/architectural changes that will increase the stability or improve the performance of Corporate One’s systems and applications.

• Fully document necessary aspects of the applications and processes for easy maintenance, transition, and governance needs.

• Work closely within and outside of the team for ideation, vendor evaluation and research work; keeps abreast of new technologies and trends to support innovation.

• Support the company’s in-house developed applications. Restore functionality to applications that have failed and documents resolutions.


What We’re Looking For:

• 3 years of related experience with enterprise application development and all phases of software development lifecycle.

• 4 years of experience with application software solution design and implementation.

• Strong practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and full participation in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Hands on experience with Microsoft.Net, C#, ASP.NET, React.js, SQL Server, Azure, Web Services, REST or RESTful services.

• Experience with iPaaS/Enterprise Service Bus Integration Architecture, CSS, HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, is preferred. Experience with Flowgear is a plus.
