Job description

Job Summary:
InterSources Inc. is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise with over 18 years of experience in IT Consulting Services. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Software Engineer – Project Lead to design, develop, and implement complex software systems using .NET technologies while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of .NET-based applications and components.
• Independently architect and implement medium-to-large scale software systems, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop data-driven applications leveraging relational database engines within the overall application architecture.
• Build web-based applications using N-tier architectures, dynamic content, and complex security models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, technical leads, and stakeholders to refine requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Manage and maintain development infrastructure, including source control, build systems, and deployment pipelines.
• Write, execute, and optimize unit tests and integration tests.
• Mentor junior developers and share expertise across the development team.
• Support the development and enhancement of enterprise-level applications and portals.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing medium-to-large scale software systems using .NET architectures.
• 5+ years of experience in data-driven application development with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
• 5+ years of experience building web-based applications with N-tier architectures, dynamic content, scalable approaches, and complex security models.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft operating systems and at least two of the following: application servers, database servers, messaging systems, or web servers.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC (3 or higher), jQuery, Angular/PrimeNG, WCF, Entity Framework, SSRS, and TFS.
• Proven success in designing and implementing multiple software components and subsystems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred:
• Prior experience working in government environments.
• Experience in Child Protective Services (CPS) systems or related applications.
