Systems Development Engineer – EV Charging & Battery Systems
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan, US, 48113
 

Job Description 

  • Research current existing systems in the market understanding North American (NA) trends.
  • Develop strategies for simulation, proof-of-concept and analysis of new business proposal with the aim of launching as an NA market product.
  • Evaluate system level software using SILS/HILS
  • Working as a development engineer to understand the system for preparing evaluation plan
  • Lead eval test plan including facility requirement planning
  • Lead actual system level testing
  • Working component supplier for confirming component performance
  • Lead/support UL/SAE/ISO/IEEE certification testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with experience
  • 1+ years in system development like stationary battery energy system, V2X system, charging systems
  • 1-3 Years’ Experience designing test plans (test cases) and evaluation set up for stationary battery energy systems, V2X systems, charging systems.
  • Knowledge of EV components/systems
  • Experience of testing/validating above systems
  • Experience of hardware component development
