Job Description
1. Create business software (60%)
a. Design and develop new features for our existing eCommerce system, Transaction system and other internal tools.
โ€ข eCommerce: web-based classic ASP or ASP.net with SQL DB JavaScript, JQuery and ASP.net MVC, Angular JS
โ€ข Transaction: server side C#, C++ with SQL DB
โ€ข Internal Tools: C# Windows UIs with SQL DB
b. Provide multiple solutions recommendations to meet customer needs
โ€ข Define objective decision criteria including cost, time to market, maintainability, fit to product roadmap, etc.
โ€ข Identify pros and cons to each proposed solution.
c. Accurately plan and estimate product releases
2. Collaborate with internal and external customers (20%)
a. Partner with product managers, business analysts, and end-customers
โ€ข Define and verify system requirements
โ€ข Develop testing and rollout strategies
โ€ข Manage customer expectations and assist with setting project priorities
3. Support (10%)
a. Proactively search for and fix bugs when reviewing code.
