What does a software documentation intern do?

A Software Documentation Intern assists in creating, editing, and organizing technical documents related to software products. Their responsibilities often include writing user manuals, help guides, and API documentation, as well as updating existing materials to reflect new features or changes. They work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other team members to ensure that documentation is accurate, clear, and useful for end users. This role helps interns develop strong technical writing and communication skills, which are valuable in many technology careers.

What types of projects and documentation tasks can a software documentation intern expect to work on?
