Job description

Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support process improvement, tooling development, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role will focus on improving productivity, reducing costs, enhancing quality, and supporting operational excellence throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and production support equipment.
  • Support equipment installation, modification, and commissioning projects.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives.
  • Develop standard work instructions and process documentation.
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programs.
  • Assist with automation projects and equipment integration initiatives.
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities throughout North America to support operational initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience in metal fabrication, welding, stamping, or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with tooling design, fixtures, and process development.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Understanding of automation, robotics, and PLC-controlled equipment preferred.
  • AutoCAD or similar design software experience preferred.
  • Approximately 30% travel
