The Data Distribution and Data Sharing team is evolving its platform into a best-in-class data product, emphasizing scalable architecture, high reliability, and automated subscription and distribution capabilities built on strategic cloud data sources. We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to drive these initiatives and lead a group of Developers and Quality Engineers in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
This role combines technical leadership, hands-on development, and team leadership responsibilities, with a primary focus on modern data platform engineering and application integration.
Technical Leadership & Architecture
  • Own the technical vision, architecture, and end-to-end design of the Data Distribution and Data Sharing team, guiding its data product development and evolution.
  • Establish and maintain SLAs/SLOs for data products serving external customers, with clear accountability for uptime, latency, and data quality.
  • Continuously evolve and optimize data sourcing strategies to support fast-moving, ever-changing data structures, ensuring the platform consistently leverages the most accurate and strategic sources of truth.

Team Leadership
  • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a distributed team of onshore and offshore engineers and QA resources.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and delivery efficiency.

Platform & Data Engineering
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake, DBT, and AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, Airflow).
  • Support integration between data platforms and application layers (.NET, Angular).
  • Design, build and maintain Extract Transform & Load (ETL) processes and design data models.
  • Create and maintain the technical components of modern, machine-readable data contracts for downstream consumers, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability across the data platform.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud and data technologies (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, DBT, AWS).
  • 5+ years of ETL experience with Informatica
  • 5+ years experience in SQL server procedures, views, indexes and performance tuning

Pay Range:
$140,500.00 - $234,100.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
