ASI is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to work in our Jacksonville, FL office. This highly motivated individual will lead multiple software teams that develop, test, deploy, and maintain company products and services. The ideal candidate is self-driven, an effective team leader, passionate about software, and able to work effectively with diverse personalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in an agile development environment overseeing multiple cross-functional teams of software engineers in new product development and maintenance activities, including serving as the Scrum Master on one or more Scrum teams
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work closely with team members to remove impediments
  • Collaborate with product management and project management to drive the Agile process, including release and sprint cycles, to ensure high-quality releases delivered on schedule
  • Assist director with iterative improvements of software deployment processes to improve frequency and quality of releases
  • Partner with product management and engineering leadership to determine priorities and create technical solutions
  • Manage performance of team members through goal setting and measurement, coaching, recognition, and feedback through regular check-ins and formal performance reviews
  • Lead the continuous improvement of software development and test processes through collaboration with peers and architects, including architectural reviews, security and compliance reviews, code reviews, and the delivery pipeline

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related technical field from an accredited U.S. institution
  • 10 years of experience as a software developer after receiving degree
  • Technical leadership responsibilities as a team lead or at a comparable level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in our current stack: C#, Angular 2+, SQL Server
