A commercial electrical contractor in Raleigh is seeking a Summer Intern to support project teams with administrative, coordination, and field support activities. This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Business who are interested in gaining hands-on exposure to commercial construction operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in the construction industry.
2026 Summer Intern Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers and field teams with daily administrative and coordination tasks
- Support job cost tracking, document management, and project reporting activities
- Help organize project documentation including submittals, purchase orders, and schedules
- Participate in jobsite visits to gain exposure to commercial electrical construction operations
- Communicate with internal teams to support project workflow and timelines
- Assist with data entry, filing, and general office support functions
- Learn basic project management and construction processes through hands-on involvement
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures during site visits
2026 Summer Intern Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field
