TITLE: Software Development Engineer, Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Create architectural design and write technical solutions for multiple Contact Center IVR and Digital communication hub applications. Collaborate with Customer Care organization and business units on an enterprise-wide basis to execute the ongoing strategy for designing and developing Client Portal, REST APIs and BI/Data warehouse. Undertake proof of concepts and explore new features of toolsets. Undertake conversion projects to migrate on-premise legacy technology to Azure cloud-based technologies based on business requirements. Work with senior management to define and implement technical processes and procedures focusing on client happiness and efficiency. Own the workload of technical resources based on timelines established by project and senior leaders. Communicate status, issues and risks to project partners. Maintain and craft technical project documentation and client worksheets. Work closely with Product Development and Professional Services developers to resolve complex technical issues and lead internal technical development training sessions.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving Azure Cloud architecture experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years developing applications using C#, .NET, Web Services, ASP.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server; 4 years working with MVC, WPF, and RESTful API services; 4 years working with Azure DevOps; 4 years of software development and working in multi-tiered applications; 4 years of web development using IIS, Azure AKS and Azure SQL; 4 years of client-side web development using JavaScript and JS frameworks; 2 years of development in Azure Cognitive services and IBM Watson Integrations; 2 years working with Microsoft Business Intelligence technology tools including SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI; and 2 years working with VPNs, VM servers, firewalls, load-balancing, and terminal service.
