Automation Technician III
As an Automation Technician III at Niagara Bottling, you will be working on the production floor with plant Automation technicians at Niagara facilities around the country. Tasks include performing advanced troubleshooting, upgrades on production lines automation systems and providing technical support to those plants that need help. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring the plant Automation technicians.
Essential Functions
  • Providing Plant Support for Niagara Facilities
    • Provide aid and expertise to plant maintenance and automation teams
    • Aid in any needed repairs on production machinery, as necessary
    • Troubleshoot and repair complex machine electrical issues
  • Automated Upgrades
    • Perform root cause analysis for automated machine upgrades
    • Research and Development of innovative technologies for increased output and reducing labor
  • Technician Training
    • Share knowledge with the plant electrical and automation technicians
    • Seek out training opportunities for team development and report to Technical Engineering Manager
  • Travel Requirements: Approximately 75% of the year
