Job description

Role: SDET – Healthcare Application Testing
Location: Wallingford, CT 06492 (Remote, but travel needed)
Experience: 12+ Years
We are looking for a strong SDET with hands-on experience in test automation, API testing, SQL, performance testing, and healthcare applications. The candidate should be able to work across UI, API, and database layers and understand payer-provider care management and authorization workflows.
Primary Focus: SDET Automation | API Testing | SQL | Performance Testing | Healthcare Domain

Must-Have Skills

  • 10+ years of SDET / QA Automation experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
  • Strong API automation/testing using REST Assured, Postman, Karate, and Newman.
  • Hands-on experience with Postman Tests, Collections, Environment Variables, and Collection Runner/Newman.
  • Strong SQL experience for database validation.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
  • Experience validating API requirements.
  • Experience with smoke, regression, functional, and integration testing.
  • Hands-on performance testing experience, including defining performance thresholds and analyzing results.
  • Experience with Selenium Grid and parallel test execution.
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, defect tracking, and QA metrics.
